Outbreak Survival Camp activities overview

What Awaits You

THE GAUNTLET.

Four core activities. Seven days. Zero guarantees. This is what you came for.

01

PAINTBALL COMBAT

You shoot or you get eaten.

Paintball combat players in tactical gear
DifficultyHIGH

Schedule

Daily — multiple engagements

Group Size

4–20 players

Paintball isn't a game here. It's your primary defense against the infected. Armed with a marker and limited ammo, you and your squad must hold perimeters, clear buildings, and execute extractions — all while zombie actors push your flanks. Miss your shots and the horde closes in.

What to Expect

  • Full paintball gear and ammo provided — no experience required
  • Scenario-based engagements tied to the week's narrative arc
  • Escalating difficulty as the week progresses
  • Team coordination drills before live engagements
  • Mandatory safety briefing on Day 1
02

SURVIVAL TRAINING

The wilderness doesn't care if you're scared.

Wilderness survival training outdoor skills
DifficultyMEDIUM

Schedule

Days 1–4, morning sessions

Group Size

All participants

When the grid goes down, your phone is useless. Our survival instructors teach you the skills that actually matter: fire-starting without a lighter, building shelter from what's around you, finding and purifying water, and navigating by landmarks. These aren't party tricks — they're the difference between making it and not.

What to Expect

  • Hands-on fire-starting with flint, steel, and friction methods
  • Shelter construction using natural materials
  • Water sourcing and purification techniques
  • Land navigation using terrain features and the sun
  • Basic first aid and wound management
03

ZIPLINE EXTRACTION

The only way out is up.

Schedule

Day 7 — final extraction

Group Size

All participants

Day 7. The camp is overrun. Your only exit is a zipline extraction point deep in the forest — and you have to fight your way there. This is the climax of the entire week: a full-camp scenario where everything you've learned gets tested under pressure. Make it to the extraction point and you survive. Don't, and the week ends on the horde's terms.

What to Expect

  • Full safety harness and equipment provided
  • Zipline spans approximately 400 feet through forest canopy
  • Zombie actors pursue participants to the launch platform
  • Weight limit: 250 lbs. Participants must be able to walk 2 miles
  • Alternative ground extraction available for those who cannot zipline
04

TACTICAL NIGHT MISSIONS

Darkness is the enemy's home turf.

Tactical night mission team in dark forest
DifficultyEXTREME

Schedule

Nights 3, 5, and 6

Group Size

4–10 players per squad

Three nights. Three missions. No lights except what you carry. Night missions are where the week's training converges — squads must navigate to objectives, complete tasks under time pressure, and return to base without being tagged by zombie actors who know the terrain far better than you do. Sleep deprivation is part of the design.

What to Expect

  • Headlamps and red-light gear provided
  • Mission briefings delivered one hour before launch
  • Objectives include retrieval, recon, and rescue scenarios
  • Zombie actors are briefed on safety protocols — no physical contact
  • Staff monitors all squads via radio throughout each mission
